Meet the Richmond INSPIRE Steering Committee

The Richmond INSPIRE Steering Committee application process ran from June 12 to July 31, 2024, and was widely promoted through the project website, social media, email outreach, and updates shared at district events and in newsletters. The Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities (PRCF) received over 80 applications, with 70 applicants representing all districts across the City of Richmond. The thoughtful and passionate responses we received about "the power of parks"—and applicants' willingness to contribute their time, talents, and experience to create a lasting vision for our Parks and Recreation system—were truly inspiring!

After careful review by PRCF leadership, 21 participants were selected to join the committee. They have already begun contributing valuable insights and expertise. The link below contains bios for each of our Steering Committee members.
